Michelle M. Yong is an associate at Gimigliano Mauriello & Maloney, P.A., where she focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation.  Michelle brings significant public sector experience to the firm, having served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Real Estate Finance Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General, where she investigated and prosecuted violations of the Martin Act and related laws governing the public offering of real estate securities in New York. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s office, Michelle served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Queens District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted felony and misdemeanor matters.

Michelle earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School, where she was President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and a member of the First Amendment National Moot Court Team. She received her B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Mathematics, from New York University.

Michelle is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
